The Detroit scene seems to be becoming the breeding ground for up and coming TRIBUNAL bands. HYDE is one of the new leaders in that scene. (The other being APATHEMY, also on TRIBUNAL.) Their debut CD, The Sky's False Persona is simply an astonishing debut release. HYDE retain a sound that is discordant yet strikingly melodic as well. Off-time rhythms are interspersed with a thrashing metal bombardment all the while dabbling with harmonized guitars. The overall frenzy that HYDE has captured digitally is unmatched. Witness for yourself the mayhem on tracks such as "Today I Bleed," "The Devil Wears A Suit" and "Teacups."
